Role: Windows Server Administrator
Duration: Full Time with Yash Technologies
Location: Chicago, IL ( Day 1 ONSITE )
- Experienced Infrastructure engineer with 12+ years of experience with expertise in Linux and Windows Server patch management, configuration management and migration activities
- Strong Linux Patching skills using Package Managers like apt (Debian/Ubuntu), yum/dnf (Red Hat/CentOS), and zypper (SUSE).
- Group Policy, Active Directory Administration
- The ideal candidate would have hands on experience working with various patching solutions such as Tanium, SCCM etc to plan, schedule, deploy and test patches
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and support partners to report and address technical concerns/challenges
- Develop and present recommendations and options to leadership
- Analyze reports to identify trends and opportunities for process and technology improvements
- Ensure that the servers and residing applications are operating at optimal levels and are up to date with relevant innovations
- Consulting and guiding the team on architectural strategies
- Creating Technical Documentation
- Knowledge on scripting languages such as PowerShell
